You are WRONG, El Xicano! Mexico is a nation and Mexican is a nationality. Mexico has people of Spanish, French, Middle Eastern, Indigenous, Asian, and African ancestry. In other words there are races made up of brown, white, red, black, yellow, and various mixtures thereof. All of these people are "real" Mexicans, moreso than these American born folks shouting Brown Pride and Viva La Raza.

His statement shows that Mexico is becoming a melting-pot of peoples but he is speaking in terms of nationality.

Can a child of chinese immigrants(who live in Mexico and are card-carrying Mexicans) that was born anywhere else in the world be Mexican? No.

Now ask that same question with bonafide Mexican parents. The answer would be yes.

I've met Mexicans with no Spanish blood or no indiginous blood at all, I know they're the minority but they're out there. I used to work with this girl who's parents immigrated to Mexico from Yugoslavia but she was born in Mexico, therefore she was Mexican.

I've run into alot of Mexicans of Chinese descent too.

Same here I met a Syrian who's parents were born in Syria, but he was born in Mexico. His parents never taught him Arab. He speaks only Spanish and some English and he calls himself "Mexican".

Ain't that the truth. Were all americans but people believe that based on skin color we should get our own holidays and parades. I think it is sad.

I never understood things like Black History month. If it is part of the History of America then why not include it with the rest of Americn History? If it is history of Blacks from somewhere else in world why are we learning about it? Just because the person is black? That seems kinda racist to me.

Puerto Rican pride parades?!?! Why not be proud to be a American no matter if their of Puerto Rican descent or not? I don't understand why we need special days/weeks/months given to people based on the color of their skin.
