Too be honest it really depends what university it is..The university will focus on both grades...not one or the other..but the fact that you have experience already attending a community college does benefit you more when you apply for the univerisity! good luck!
MY NEPHEW IS CONSIDERING APPLYING TO UC SANTA CRUZ. ANYONE KNOW IF IT IS A GOOD CAMPUS WITH A STRONG CHICANO COMMUNITY THERE? HE FROM THE INLAND EMPIRE.
Out of curiosity, what is your nephew majoring in? UC Santa Cruz is mostly known for its liberal arts programs so it wouldn't be a bad idea attending if his field fell somewhere under that umbrella. It's also not that far.
Thanks for this info. We'll check it out. He's split between computer engineering and math. He's still got a full year though so who knows what he'll decide on. You're right, it's not that far but definately a different environment. Thanks!
good luck! college is hard! so if your a quiter dont even apply! dont waste your time...trying to start something your not going to finish! just my opinion...
