It is said by many that Saul "Canelo" Alvares is the next mexican boxing star. For those of you who dont know who he is look him up. He is currently fighting in the welterweight division and is looking to fight for a world title some time 2010. what are youre thoughts and opinions of this guy?

I believe hes got talent but it might be too soon to call him the next mexican star.

canelo vs chavez would be interesting, but i think we all know chavez wouldnt fight him. if he would i think they would fight at 154. i think canelo fights at 147, i could be wrong. but we all know canelo is more skilled, faster, and stronger than chavez jr.

i agree. but i dont think top rank is ready to see chavez jr loose yet so the fight wont happen anytime soon.
