Ther Derby jackets and then everyone put their last name on the back in Old English letters..lol..old skool at least that is how they were worn here on my side of Cali. The guys and girls wore them. Mainly black with white felt lettering on the back...damn that was old skool.

ya,the black derbys for sure rocked big time, no finding one is impossible unless it is a knockoff. my homeboy said they stopped making the derbys in 1985...on ebay, well they sell for like 100 plus....

i found afew in thrift shops, but now almost impossible...

a few homeboys i knew from the bay area, still sport the black ones they head for a long time..

i sport a blue one

in school, ya the lettering we did was in old english style

the jackets they make now, all made overseas in china, etc....

the old school dudes like myself were always in derbys back in the day

now with the youngster lowriders, well they have there own fashion statements

no bells..me and my homies buy collect and sell the derbys original black blue and brown..

i think ben davis in the 1960's made a bell bottom....man finding a pair of those with the monkey label...maybe in a hippi store in frison..

here is a black one, selling on ebay, but it is not an original since not made in usa which were the better ones
