"The 1978 Cutlass moved to the new version of GM's A-body with a shorter, 108-inch (2,743 mm) wheelbase. This Cutlass was lighter than earlier versions at around 3,300 pounds"
yeah still heavy, but the thing I wish I could change is the rear end gears, it tops off around 135mph, I want to aim for at least 150mph, the TH 400 transmission is only 3 speed, I could maybe change the torque converted to help with the loss of get up and go when I change the rear end gears, but if I am able to get a better trans, like a 700r4 and maybe install the computer, I would help a lot
I have to see whats in the budget, but I also like the old school feel in my cars

I had put in some money is fixin the bug, one day driving home from work the lug nuts just came off,my front tire rolled right by my car while I was on the freeway, lol, when I notice it, thats when my car fell to the ground, I pulled over and a nice ass lady gave me a ride all the way to my house, I am scared of fixing it now, but I am not sure if the lug nuts just came loose or if someone messed with it
my dad has a 1972 pontiac grand prix that we both are restoring, we had it painted and we told the guy no bondo, guess what, lots of bondo, we are taking the guy to court now, only thing lacking now is the paint
