sorry it took me forever..but here's a bit more.
“OMG” I said getting up.
“Meli what’s wrong?” Smiley said to me.
“I was having a bad dream” I said looking around and then looking at Jazzy who was still in the comma.
“What happened?”
“I dreamed that Jazzy woke up and that she didn’t want Junior to be her dad that she wanted Joel. And that I lost 15 pounds.” I chuckled “15 damn pounds!”
“Well we all pray that her and Joel wake up”
“I know”
I rested my head on Smileys shoulder and we just prayed for Jazzy and Joel.
“How is she doing?” Junior asked as he walked into the room with Jordon his son.
Jordon looked at me smiled really big and gave me a big hug.
“I missed you lali” he said to me. Lali is what he would call me no idea why.
“Mijo I missed you to! Look at you so big!”
“Like my daddy!”
“Yea like your daddy” I said looking up at Junior who was just looking at Jazzy. “How old are you? Are you 15 already?”
“No loca! I’m barley 5”
“I know I know!” I said laughing with him.
“Who is she?” he asked me. “Is she my sister?”
“I told him” Junior said. “Yea mijo that’s your little sister”
“So I’m a big brother right?” he said looking at me.
“Yes, you are”
“Hell yea!”
“Excuse me Senorito what have I told you about talking like that?”
He said sorry and then walked over to Jazzy.
“She looks like you daddy?”
“What are you talking about Bro?” Smiley said “Your dad is ugly and Jazzy is beautiful like her mommy!”
I looked at him and rolled my eyes and Jordon just laughed.
Jordon looked at her, amazed. He was talking to her about what they were going to do when she got out of the hospital, how much fun they were going to have, and how we were going to be a happy family.
“I’m gonna go check on Joel. I’ll be back okay” I said to smiley.
“I’ll go with you” Junior said.
I didn’t say anything I just walked out of the room.
“Hey” Junior said grabbing my hand.
“Let go Junior”
“We need to talk”
“Look there’s nothing to talk about okay.”
“Yes there is! You still love me?”
“Why would you ask that question if you already know the answer?”
I walked into Joel’s room and his mom was there. We stayed for a little bit when Smiley ran into the room and said that Jazzy had woke up.
I almost fainted literally. My heart was pounding so hard that I had to hold onto Junior so I wouldn’t fall.
“Ey you okay?”
“Yea. I’m fine. Let’s go”
We ran out of the room and when we got there Jordon was holding Jazzy’s hand.
“You’re my brother?” she asked him.
“Yes silly I already told you!” he said giggling.
“I got bruder?” she said looking up at me.
