Its not like every girl survives to tell her story of heartache.Of loss.
Of pain.Some girls cant handle the pain of heartache..which eventually
leads to suicidal thoughts.And sooner or later..those thoughts turn to
actions.
Not Amanda though.She survived it all.
Amanda got inside her bedroom and called Nae to come over.They decided
to eat before they went to the park so Amanda made some noodles.
You can never go wrong with noodles.
Then a weird noise started coming from the living room..which was
right next to the kitchen.
"What the fuck is that..?" Nae said..
Amanda looked around.Duh.She started laughing.
"Its my phone.." she said.
She walked into the living room and there her phone was..on the coffee
table.She picked it up and opened it.She had a text from John.
"Hey is it okay if I bring my friend?"
"Sure" she txt back
"Is it cool if we come over now?
My brother just got home" he wrote back
John hated his brother.His brother was a real asshole though.
And I mean a REAL PRICK.He was mean.He was rude.He had
no respect for anyone.And to make things worse..he was 25.
No job.No priorities.And still lived with his momma.
Loser if you ask me.But no one asked me so lets move on.
Amanda text back.
"Of course..were about ready to go anyway."
"Okay..be there in about 15."
Amanda closed he phone and went to the kitchen.
"John is bringing a friend..maybe you two will..you know.."
she smiled and nudged Nae on the arm.
"Watever Amanda.." and pushed her playfully.."I told you I dont want
no one right now..Im happy single.."
"Yea yea.." Amanda said rolling her eyes and laughing "Well get ready
cuz here about to be here.."
"Im ready.." she said..
"Good..me too" Amanda said.."Lets go sit on the porch and wait
for them..I got this while we wait.." and she pulled out a half blunt
outta her cigarette pack.
"Coo.." Nae said.
They went out the door and Amanda locked it behind them.She handed
the half smoked blunt and lighter to Nae.
"Light it up.." she said
Nae sparked up the blunt.That was a different kind of love.
They sat there in them two green chairs on Amandas front
porch for what seemed like forever.
They were high.
They were goofy high.
Thats why Amanda loved getting high with Nae.
It was never boring.
They could sit there for hours and not even say anything..
and just laugh there ass off for nothing.
Good times.Good friends.
They could do all that without getting high to..dont get me wrong..but
they liked to smoke.Well Amanda loved it.
Johns car pulled up in front of Amandas house.She could see his
friend through the window.
A bandana on his head?Oh my God he so gangster.
Pssshhh.
Wat a loser.
Thats exactly what Amanda thought of him and she hadn't even met
him yet.
Amanda and Nae got in the back of Johns wannabe race car.
"This is my homeboy Daniel.." John said
"Wuts up.." NAe said..
"WUts goin on.." he said back to her.
Amanda didnt say nothing.John and Nae both knew why.They
knew her well enough to know that she can read a person VERY
WELL..and Daniel had that "cocky..Im better than u..I need a trophy
girl" type attitude and look.
Amanda did not like that.They were barely turning off her street and she
already wanted to go home.
That was bad.
But she didnt say nothing.She went to the park.Which may have
been the baddest choice she had ever made.
But she was only 15 at this time.She didnt know any better.
She was just living her life.
Little did she know..
They soon got to the park.Nothing great.Nae and Amanda
took off walking.JOhn and Daniel kinda walked slowly behind them.
"Shes hot.." Daniel said..talking about Amanda.
John rolled his eyes.He didnt let Daniel see that.They were bestfriends.
But John knew he was a player.Thats why he didnt want him with
Amanda.But he knew Amanda woud be smarter than to get with him.
"Yea she is hot..shes beautiful.."John said.
"Think she'd go out with me..?"
"No..dude.." John looked at him.. "You got a girlfriend.."
"Soo.." Daniel replied.. "Hook it up.." he said laughing
"Shes only 15.." John said
"Seriously..??" Daniel asked.. "Daam she looks good.."
And that was that.He didnt say anything else to John about her.He
decided to take it into his own hands.
"Aye wait up.." Daniel screamed and ran to catch up with Amanda and
Nae.
"Oh my God..shoot me.." Amanda said stickin out hertounge as if she
was puking.
Nae laughed.
Daniel thru his arm around Amanda and started walking fast so he culd
get her away from Nae.
"Wat the hell..?" Amanda said..
"Just keep walking.."Daniel said..
And she did.She didnt know why but she did.The way his arm felt around
her neck and shoulder.The way it felt to stand next to him,and walk with
him as if he was already hers..it felt amazing.She felt proud.She felt some
thing she had never felt before.
Before she knew it..they were far outta sight of John and Nae and
Daniel started leading her off the trail.
"Where we going.?" she asked
"Just trust me.." he said and grabbed her hand.
And she held his back.It felt right.So she followed him.Even though they
were in a wooded area at a community park..AManda felt as if they had
been hiking in the woods forever.She wasn use to this.
They finally reached a green bench that was naild onto a tree.It was
badass.Daniel got on it.
"Are you sure thats safe..?" AManda asked..
"Yea Im sure.." he said..
Amanda closed her eyes and sat on the bench next to him.
It didnt fall.
It didnt shake.
Its all good.
So there they were.Just Amanda and Daniel..sitting in a tree.

Except there was no kissing.Just silence.
And in the silence..came the touch of Daniel.He hugged Amanda and
held her in his arms.It felt so wrong..but yet so right.
