You got it right.He didnt even call Amanda.He just left.Till this day she still doesnt knowwhy he didnt tell her bye.He claims it was "too hard" for him to say that to her.Thinking back..that was just another bullshit ass lie from him.But back then she didnt think that.Back then she thought it was sweet.And love.It was far from love.
Amanda woke up and it was 11 a.m.She checked her phone.One text message.It was from John.She was kinda let down that it wasnt from Daniel.They were gunna hang out today before he left.
She opened her phone.
"Lets hang out today.."it said.She sighed.She knew she should.Afterall..he was her bestfriend and hadnt seen him in what felt like forever.She was always with Daniel.She text him back.
"I cant today..not till later.Im hanging out with Daniel."she wrote.She sent the message after a few seconds of hesitation.It wasnt but a few seconds and she got another message.From John.
"Um Amanda..he left already..TJ called me and told me.He left last night."
Amanda could feel her heart beak.Then became enraged.She dialed Daniels number and it wnt to voicemail.
"Daniel..I really think you need to call me back and let me know what the fuck is going on.I heard your gone already.Wut the fuck!!??" she said an slammed the phone shut.
She opened her phone again and text John back."Yea lets hang out today." she wrote.
"Are you ready?" he text back.
Amanda started lauhing.She forgot she had just woken up.
"Let me take a shower.Call you when I get out."she wrote.
She got in the shower..washed her hair and body and face.Got out and brushed her teeth.ANd did her makeup in front of the big mirror.She decied to leave her hair stringy looking and all scrunchy..so she just added hairspray to her hair.She threw on ometight blue jeans and a low cut black shirt.And her black boots.She text John to come get her.
"Mom Im leaving with John.."she said
"Okay" her mom said coming outta the kitchn.She gave Amanda a kiss on the cheek."Do you want any breakfest..?"she asked her.
Amanda nodded her head.
"Well come on..its ready.."her mom said.
They both walked into the kitchen and her mom had made everything you could think of.Pancakes..eggs..sausage..bacon..hashbrowns..toa st..biscuits.Amanda munched out.She couldnt leave on an empty stomach.
She fiished her food and walked into the living room to watch TV until JOhn got there.She was just getting into the cartoons that was on when she heard someone honk.It was JOhn
"Bye mom Im leaving.."she said walking in the kitchen.he gave her mom a kiss on the cheek and a hug.
"Be careful baby.." her mom said.
"I will mom..dont worry." Amanda said
She grabbed her purse and got in the front seat.
"Wuts up buddy." she said giving John a hug.He smiled and hugged her back.
"Wuts up stranger"he said"how the fuck are ya..?" he asked laughing and started driving away from her house.
"Im doing pretty good"she said
"Good..Im glad.."he said
"So what are we gunna do today..?"
"I was gunna make a stop at an old buddies house.Is that cool.." JOhn asked her
"As long as he's cool.." she said
"Oh ya..there brothers.Their real chilld people." John said..making a left on a street just a few down from Amandas.
The pulled into a driveway not tolong after he made that left.And there was 2 guys outside..just chillin on their back porch.One guy looked kinda young.Not as yong as Amanda..like Johns age.He had a beer and a blunt.The othe guy looked way different.You could tell he probably didnt drink or smoke or anything.
John parked the car and got out."Come on.." he said thru the crack of the window.
Amanda got out.And walked bhind John.
"Hey Carlos..this is Amanda..Amanda this is Carlos.."John introduced him.That was the young guy.Carlos.He was 21 years old.Shaved head.Goatee.Tatted up.But he wasnt gangsta.He wasnt ghetto.He was cool.
'Nice to meet you AManda.."he said.
"Nice to meet you too.."she said and smiled."Can I hit that blunt..?"he asked laughing thinking he was gunna say "hell nah".Istead..she looked up,and he was passing her th blunt.
"Oh shit.."she said and took it before he changed his mind.
"Its about time I have somene to smoke with..this fucker dont smoke.."he said looking at his brother."Thats my brother Ricardo" he said.
She waved.She hit the blunt.And handed it back to Carlos.
"So whats there to do tonight..?" Carlos asked
"Lets go.." Amanda and John said at the same time and started laughing.
"Go where..??"Carlos asked.
"The races" they both said.
"Hell yea..sounds good to me.."he said.
Amandas phone started vibrating.It was some weird ass number calling.
The day I was born I started dying. The truth hurts so I started lying. Who to trust I just dont know. When I was younger I wanted to grow, now I'm grown but it's still the same. I play my position like it was a game, I live life day by day. I was put on this world to be a tray. Where I'm at is where I'll stay. So many different Gods, it's no wonder why I don't Pray.
