I was looking forward to Inglourious Basterds because its the first movie he's done in a loooong time that isnt some homage to crappy movies from the 70s. But Im turned off that Brad Pitts in it. Im kinda sick of the guy.

I have it, but Im gonna wait for a better version to watch.

You do know Inglourious Basterds is homage to Spaghetti Westerns

Hence all the Morricone tracks

The opening sequence is straight out of “once upon a time in the west”

I was waiting for Henry Fonda and Charles Bronson to pop out

Honestly, Im sick if this freak doing everything in homage to somethng else. He needs to get over that and go back to writing good movies like he did 15 years ago. Thats why all his new shit is blowing.

There is nothing new under the sun my friend

I applaud Tarantino for doing the kind of flicks he wants to make

But i do agree that most of his flicks post pulp fictions have been weak

Jackie Brown being the weakest imo

I dont want him to do anything new, just quit doing homages or corny shit. I havent like anything since PF. True Romance, Res and PF are his only good movies. And they pretty much all came from the same script. Thats prolly why.

Well, they didnt really all come from the same scrpt, per se.. But more like unused material from projects that developed Res and True Romance were used to make Pulp Fiction.

There was a huge screenplay however for True Romance (written mostly by Tarantino) .. where the unused portion was used to make Natural Born Killers.

and i can see how all the movies could be tweaked and made into one epic ass movie...

tarantino should do that one day....put all his movies in order according to his universe for theaters...or a boxed set...
