Default Re: Parenthood ...

Have a kid whenever it feels comfortable. Not because of some biological clock issue.

Besides if you didn't really consider it until that conversation than it's not on your agenda yet. I'd say leave it alone...

im 24 with no kids. I don't want to have a kid any time soon due to my personal life [work, school, bills] all those things that keep me away from having a baby.

I was at my house during my lunch brake when my sister in law arrived we started talking about relationships and the famous "baby" talk they all have with me. She started telling me that i should have a kid cus im way too old already and me having a baby at age 27 or 28 is a big No! i let her know my reasons as of why i don't want a kid any time soon and things got a little uncomfortable b/c she started saying all this non sense she had my niece at age 15 personally a girl that has a kid at age 15 is not ready what so ever and as times goes one they will for sure want to go out and party with out giving a damn about the child.

My question is, Do you guys think that having a kid at age 27 or 28 before 30 its not a good decision?

Keep in mind, that around that age most of the people that have a well planed life live well with not so many worries.

Discuss ....

shit happens people have kids at young ages and thats shame, she wasnt ready, and if your not then your not no one can tell you when you are or when you should have a child.

that being said i think the ideal age would be 30 at the very most 35.
by the age of 30 i think most people should make sure they are in a commited relationship and have the money to provide for the kid without struggling and the reason for no later than 35 is cuz after that the chances of having a retarded child goes up like 45% i dont quite remember and i dont think any parent should be in their 50s with a teenage kid.

i mean im not gonna have a kid just cus she told me. I just can't seem to understand someone that says/thinks that having a kid from age 15-20 is fine when its not just b/c you don't want to be OLD and having kids.. Your gonna hit the party mood at some point of your life and having a kid is gonna complicate things [if you care for your child] which most don't. They do as they please and years later realize the damage they have done to their child.

back then he couldnt come to the pub or live his life because he had parental duties.

"Live your life first"

and then plan the rest, if you haven't lived/partied then you are gonna miss out in a lot of things. Just saying. Thats how i see it.

Thats not always the case so dont make assumptions on all young mothers.

Do what feels right for you. 28 is never too old for kids...My mom had me when she was 28...

she reminds me of a cousin of mine, nigga is 22 my age with 2 kids. He always comes around with bullshit about having kids and how i should make one. Im like how about NOT!
He had his first kid at 18, got married because of it. He is living at home, he swears he makes more money than i do, if he does he does not manage it well.
It seems like envy too me, dont listen to her.
