My gf & I were at the health store. While we were waiting in line, my gf saw the box of chocolates and pointed it out to me. I only bought one Dark Chocolate just to see how it taste. It's tasty, and according to the wrapper, all profits help to support the Huichols. I also see that it’s Fair Trade & Organic on it.
while looking at it more, I noticed that it was called Shaman (sign 1 to new-agers).
Then I go to the site:
http://shamanchocolates.com
While I look at this page:
http://shamanchocolates.com/our-vision.html
I see new ager sign 2... Brant Secunda & his work...
I go to the other site on the chocolate bar:
www.shamanism.com (Warning sign 3).
The rest is on that site:

http://www.shamanism.com/Brant/Brant_A.aspx
Did a search on that guy and got this site:

I asked someone who would know about the Huichol mainly bc I never heard of chocolate growing naturally that north. That just threw me off. I felt like maybe I didn't know Huichol culture that much.
From what he said assured me that it didn't.
I know the owner of the chocolate company is a new ager, but my big question is does the profits on the chocolate actually help the Huichol?
