The object of my affection
my lost heart's direction
thoughts of you take over my mind
truly you are one of a kind
the look upon my face tells a thousand stories
a consequence of love and its many glories
reminiscing of that day we first met
eyes connected as the sun had just set
catching glimpses of each other
not taking our eyes off one another
the cold winter breeze made me shiver
your voice in my ear made me quiver
wrapping your jacket around me asking for my name
from that moment on my life would never be the same
on the phone with each other we talked for hours
days at work you would send me flowers
but it was your sincerity that had me falling
suddenly my heart for you was calling
i cherished every moment i felt every kiss
how could a man have me feeling like this
from the second our eyes locked i was hypnotised
from the minute you held me i was mesmerised
i lay there thinking how lucky can one be
to have a man like you fall inlove with me
your voice, the sweetest sound i've heard
you amaze me with just one simple word
i will never forget that special moment we shared
to you no man can ever be compared
after that one night you captured my heart and soul
after that one night to you i simply lost control
I liked the poem it was really nice. IT took me back to a point in my life when I once thought that a love and moment like that would last forever... Maybe it can or maybe mine just didn't But either way I really like ur poem!
