why if a grengo claims pride in his race he is some white supramacist. , but if black or mexican dude claims pride its supporting ones own culture, etc.. just wondering,, i am tired of the double standards coming from all types. all race pride is wrong,, you have nothing else to find esteem in,? and look at the most obvious and unintellectual thing to be proud about?

I think part of the "pride" thing has to do with wanting to carry on the roots of your culture of origin, as in not being ashamed of it so that you want to deny it.
I am half Mexican and half white and I know so little about the Mexican side of my cultural roots. Why? Racism. I wanted to deemphasize the Mexican half of me and emphasize the German half because I knew that people would make certain negative assumptions about me because of my Mexican heritage. I was borrrrn in East L.A. and we then moved to a predominantly white neighborhood where I was called names for looking Mexican, but confused people because I am so white.
Now I want to learn more about my roots as a Mexican American. I know there are other people out there like me.
good points on this topic. I can understand being proud of surviving years of oppression, slavery and injustice as a people. opposed to being slave master, pilliager and lord knows what else. racism is going to exist in various degrees and forms so as long as there are going to be different races.

I really agree with what you're saying. Now, I don't think it's bad in any way at all if people are trying to preserve their culture, but a lot of the time I'm honestly not seeing any of that.

Arabs are selling blacks to this day. The reason blacks aren't around in arab countries is because they would castrate male african slaves and work both males and female slaves to death without allowing them to have children.
To be completely honest I am a Italian who considers himself more Latin centric and not European centric. My stepfather was born in Argentina. I am trying to learn Spanish now since I want to move their. Anyone know a good site I could learn spanish for free? I am so sick of living in America I want to live in Buenos Aires.

Maybe it's because the term "white pride" is used a lot by white nationalists and separatist movements. So, of course... some people will take it as a form of racism.

Some group called Yatwa or something in Florida is also a black supremacist group that uses black power.
Can't think of many organizations that use brown pride badly. I think their was one student group that committed some crimes that used it but that's it.
We are not arrogant enough to believe we are all powerful and we are willing to learn and adapt. When we came to America we willing adopted some of the beliefs of the people living their if the beliefs were the best thing for our people.

o.0 wtf? I went to the link you gave for whitepride and it sent me to some micetrap site. o.0 Blackpride was a okay site I guess. It pretty much showed anyone who looked black on the sites homepage.
Considering 30% of so called whites in America have atleast some black ancestry the site seems rather useless. I can't understand ethnic divides in America. I think stuff is done more on cultural lines then ethnic lines. Mexicans are part European and part indigenous and some say part Black since their were some 200,000 black slaves in Mexico. Others say Mexicans simply killed blacks who tried to become free.
The SoCal fighting that the media is calling ethnic cleansing of blacks by Hispanics seems more like Hispanics simply don't want the corrupting influence of African American culture around their families since Hispanics have a very family oriented lifestyle and don't want it corrupted by African Americans fatherless hatefilled lifestyle that 90% of African Americans seem to partake in.
I know some left wing people will call me racist for my comments but understand that I know people of other ethnicities who agree with me here. My African American best friend in high school agreed with me he wasn't one of those fools who followed the Radical Black Solidarity movement that believes in men impregnating women as fast as possible and then abandoning them. His father was a very hard working loyal family man.
The fighting between hispanics/whites vs blacks in SoCal is all about cultural differences.
Yahweh or whatever it is called is in Florida and they are known to have killed dozens of non blacks. It used to just be so called "whites" back in the 60s and 70s but they have been bragging abount killing Cubans(Cubans are predominently Spanish and live a Latin lifestyle so they would be considered white by everybody except the idiotic USA government)
New Black Panthers movement is a very very VERY powerful militant organization. If your not black and you live in Pennsylvania prepare to be robbed raped and killed. During the elections 2 members stood outside a polling booth in Philly and threatened anyone who looked white(which included 1 or 2 Hispanics since they don't care as long as you don't look black your a target) Ironically a former civil rights leader who worked for JFK video taped them doing it. It was going to go to trial and they would have been publicized and probably taken apart but then Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder had the case dropped which led to New Black Panthers believing they could get away with anything.
I live in Pennsylvannia I won't say where but believe me when I tell you. They are the reason immigrants aren't coming to Pennsylvannia. Their puppet organizations and supporters get loads of cash from "minority programs" and they don't want Hispanics here. Back in high school their was like 1 hispanic in the entire school and he just pretended to be a peaceful white person because he didn't want anyone to think he was part of a Hispanic gang. I personally am Italian. I have the looks that I could fit in many different cultures. I could pass for Arabic, Latino, or European. I actually look like I could be part Oriental too. The curves of my face and slant of my eyes make it possible. I guess it comes with being from southern Italy. The place I came from changed hands so often back in the old days.
